Welcome to the Bertolami.com Privacy Policy
Please give the following a quick read before you view my website. It details for you, the user, how any information you share with this website is used. Consider this the definition of your privacy on here.

In order to post your opinion in a comment or in the forum you will be asked to provide some personal information. This information includes your email address, your name, your myspace url, your AOL Instant Messenger name, your MSN ID, and your homepage url. Note that only your name and email address are required.

Your email address is collected in order to verify that your comments are being posted by a human, and not a computer. After completing a comment form, a copy of your comment will be mailed to you along with instructions on how you can verify that you created the comment.

A comment will only become active and viewable by others once you have verified and claimed ownership over a comment. This is for security and spam purposes only. I will never publish your email address (unless you specifically opt-in for this feature) nor will I ever email you (except to verify a post).

Your myspace, aim, and msn information is optional, and is only collected so that other users can contact and interact with you. All of the information collected by my server can be deleted at any time, at your request, by sending an email to me.

Please be aware that as part of the security and general statistic collection processes of my site host, your ip address, browser information, general location, and site traversal information may be collected. This is merely to monitor traffic of the site, and not your persona browsing habits. No directly identifying information is collected and/or stored.

Hopefully after reading this you are aware that your personal information will not be misused by my website. I collect only as much information as I need in order to guarantee a (hopefully) spam free service. Should any of my policies change, I will update this page and attempt to sufficiently warn users in advance of any software change.
