Please give the following a quick read before you view my website. Acceptance in full of this entire disclaimer is required to view this site, so if you disagree with any portion of this disclaimer, please redirect your browser elsewhere.
Instead of supplying the usual dry and boring legalese (is that redundant?) version of a disclaimer, I'm going to simply outline a couple of the conditions that you should be aware of before you view my site.
First off, everything on the site is copyrighted, either by myself, or by other authors. I do not claim ownership over any content that I did not personally create, but that doesn't mean you can rip it off. I do reserve exclusive ownership over nearly everything on here with the exception of forum and comment posts.
In short, if you want to use anything found on the bertolami.com domain (whether it be photos, videos, music, applications, papers, or ideas), shoot me an email first to make sure it's kosher. I will almost always grant permission to users who want to use my content, but this permission must be granted before you use it. Also, for binary mirrors, I require that you keep my binaries (or zips) intact and do not remove any copyright information or documentation that I supply with them. It might surprise you to learn that I do in fact scour the web looking for unauthorized uses of my content.
A portion of this site is dedicated to user supplied content. Primarily, this includes the forum and any comment sections where users can post their opinions. Since I cannot control what users say (nor would I want to...), please be aware of this fact when traversing these sections. If you find something that is extremely offensive to you, feel free to send me and email, and I will consider removing the comment, forum post, or even the user - but be warned, I will only take action in the most egregious of circumstances. I do not consider this a moderated website, and neither should you.
Thirdly, I do not claim any responsibility over anything found on this website. I have made no claims regarding the safety of viewing my page, installing or running any of my software, listening or viewing any of my content, or participating in a forum. If you somehow manage to find a way to harm yourself using something I've created, you cannot hold me responsible.
Lastly, please remember that any of the opinions or comments found on this site, made by either myself or a viewer, are not necessarily the opinions of my employer or any of my affiliates. This website is completely separate from my work, so do not consider this sanctioned by, condoned by, or in any way related to Microsoft.
